The Francis L. Abreu Charitable Trust funds organizations in the Atlanta area only. The Foundation's areas of interest include arts and cultural programs; secondary education; higher education; health associations; human services; children and youth services. Types of support include capital campaigns; program development; seed money; and matching funds. The Foundation does not approve requests for operating or grants to individuals.

Please provide the following information about your organization and the program to be funded:
• A completed copy of the Francis L. Abreu Charitable Trust application form
• List of board of directors and the extent to which they support your organization
• Copy of 501(c)(3) determination letter
• Concise (2-3 pages) description and relevant budget material including:
  Purpose of grant
  Amount requested
  Why grant is needed
  Proposed objective and community benefit
  Others being solicited for this need.

Please address your letter to Mr. Peter Abreu, Chairman, and mail it to the address below. Requests must received by March 31 or September 30 to be considered at the April or October meetings of the Trustees.
